Simon Lalong, Plateau state Governor and furthermore the APC official mission DG, has expressed that as a steadfast Catholic, he is glad to lead the Muslim-muslim ticket mission of the APC.
He expressed this while handling inquiries from State House columnists after a shut entryway with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on August 10.
He said as a conceived, submersed, and affirmed Catholic, who has the most elevated grant from the papacy, Knight of Saint Gregory the Great, the Pope has not let him know that it is off-base for him to lead the Muslim official mission group.
He further said that the Pleateau State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) came to the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Jos, to invite him after his arrangement as the APC official mission DG.
He expressed that he doesn’t know why the individuals who guarantee to be Christians are against his arrangement.
The Governor, who excoriated a few Christian pioneers requesting that he reject the arrangement in light of the judgments that followed the APC Muslim ticket, said the choice was completely a party undertaking and had nothing to do with religion.
