
A former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha has said viral reports charging that he blamed Peter Obi, Labor Party’s Presidential Candidate of being tricky is misleading.
The report circulated around the web via online viral news yesterday.
The report had asserted that Ihedioha called Obi ‘cunning’, and had requested that Igbos sit tight till 2031 for Presidency.
Nonetheless, a proclamation by Ihedioha’s media aid, Chibuike Onyeukwu, had requested that the public disregard the assertion, adding that it was phony information.
The assertion dated August 8, 2022 was named, ‘RE – 2023: Igbos Should Wait Till 2031, Peter Obi is Craft
It read, “Our consideration has been attracted to one more phony news, with the above subtitle, circled in a few web-based entertainment stages.
“This is one of the many coordinated endeavors by political rivals of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON and their colleagues who fear settling against him in the approaching decisions.
“It is essential that His Excellency allowed no meeting in Abuja or somewhere else as guaranteed.
“His Excellency is known to clear himself in the most thoughtful way and accordingly could never have utilized such unseemly words.
“We know that the purveyors of these unwarranted reports are tenacious in their distress to reprimand His Excellency’s honesty and notoriety.
“People in general, are cautioned and without a doubt encouraged to overlook and disregard the phony news.”
